This holiday season the Authors of JK Publishing wanted to say THANK YOU to our readers! What better way to say “Thank you” than to give away prizes?!

How do you get it?
Easy! You leave a comment on each blog post letting us know you visited, and the best part is that every blog is giving away individual prizes too! Your comment enters you in both drawings!
For my blog I’m giving away a swag pack! It will include a signed paperback, keychain, earrings, pens, and a variety of Lori King stuff! But I can’t just give away one prize, it IS Christmas after all, and my readers are my favorite people (outside of those heathens I call children and the hubby :P). So, I will give away a swag pack to the first name I draw, and then I will draw two more names! Each one of those commenters will get to an ecopy of any book off of my backlist!
Why would I give stuff away in a blog hop?
I have a couple of reasons, the first is that I LOVE making people happy. That’s probably why I write romance to begin with.
The second is that I love supporting my publisher and my fellow authors. There are some amazingly talented authors at JK Publishing, and I want to make sure you guys get a chance to try them all out.
And the third and most important reason? It’s because I am so grateful for each and every person who picks up one of my stories. You guys give me the ability to live my dream, and not many people can say that. When I write a story my heart is leading the way, and you all have allowed me to spill my blood into words on a page and fall in love with dozens of heroes and their heroines. I’m eternally thankful for my readers for supporting me. Thank you to all of you!

#3 is exactly why I love supporting indie/similar authors! I love that the writers appreciate us for picking up their books, reading, reviewing, interacting. You don’t get that with a large publishing house. Little communities form around authors, and it’s a wonderful thing to see!
I completely agree Sarah! I don’t think I would have been good at traditional publishing because I love getting to know my readers too much. I want to be friends with them, and I love including them in my books. Flawless Surrender has a character completely created by a reader who won the opportunity in a contest! It’s afternoon here now so I have to say good afternoon. I hope you are enjoying the weather wherever you are. It was really cold yesterday with snow and I loved it. Now it’s starting to get a bit warmer with rain and I miss the cold already :P. I am a complete winter person. Thank you so much for being a part of this blog hop. Was it easy for your to write paranormal?
It’s bitter cold here in Kansas Tiffany, and we’re expecting snow and ice over the weekend, but I’ll be snug in my house with the family celebrating the holidays. 🙂 I find it easier to write paranormal and fantasy than I do contemporary. With contemporary it’s important that you get the facts straight and that everything be realistic. Men don’t growl, they aren’t super strong, they don’t slink like a predator, unless they happen to have an element of fantasy or magic. Werewolves growl and stake their claim, vampires hypnotize their mate, and seduce her, faeries can do anything they like, so adding that paranormal element gives me a lot more creative freedom. I hope we get some snow here I want to play in it. Although considering I keep getting sick every time I go in it maybe I should enjoy it from afar. You know I never thought of paranormal like that. All of the facts you pointed out are some of the reasons I love paranormal :).

That’s a hard question to answer Karen, because everything in life inspires my stories, and I can’t NOT write. I’ve been writing since I was big enough to hold a pencil, but it wasn’t until just about two years ago that the characters in The Gray Pack sunk their teeth in to me and wouldn’t let go. Nowadays, I think my loyal readers are the ones who keep me inspired and motivated to push myself for more stories that are bigger and better. My very first series that I read of yours were the Grey Pack series and they are amazing. Then you announced The Surrender Series and that they were released through JK Publishing, I had never heard of this publishing company but I am a loyal fan I so now here I am . I have found a few authors new and some old that have also joined so I want to thank you for introducing me. Congrats on your newest release Flawless Surrender! I have this but during the holidays it is a bit hectic for , but I am dying to read and like all of your other books I am sure I will love this one as well. Are you working on anything new ? I love hearing that I’ve been able to share new authors with you Amy! There is so much talent in the JK family that you can’t go wrong! I am working on a ton of things right now. I’ve been writing the Gray Pack 5, as well as the third Surrender book, Primal Surrender. But I’ve also got a couple of new things going and at some point I want to revisit Apache Crossing too.
