Recap: My Weekend in Las Vegas with JK Publishing!

by on March 26, 2014

Last Wednesday I woke up long before the sun did to head for the beautiful (AND WARM) Las Vegas, Nevada with a couple dozen other JK Publishing authors, and the JK team. Now, everyone knows the golden rule that “What Happens In Vegas Stays In Vegas,” but I wanted to share some of the juicy tidbits with a few of my closest friends. 🙂 Bear with me because a few of my photos were censored for the protection of all involved….

Everyone arrived to the hotel where we were introduced to the stars of Las Vegas…but they were pretty shy, so I never got face shots.

The week was packed full of slot machines, scantily clothed peeps, and souvenirs!

I saw the chaos of Freemont St., the shops of the Miracle Mile, and the history that lines the walls of the HardRock Casino. It was fantastic! The best part of the whole weekend was meeting a couple dozen other JK Authors who I have talked to for months online, but never seen face to face. We shared drinks (FYI those pics are under lock and key) and laughs, and shuttle buses, and enjoyed getting to know each other. If you haven’t checked out JK Publishing yet here is their site: http://www.jkpublishingauthors.com.

One of my favorite spots in Vegas turned out to be the flower garden and butterfly house at the Bellagio hotel. A huge glowing tree, surrounded by blooms of every color and size set the backdrop for a small glass house full of butterflies! Absolutely beautiful!

I loved Vegas, and I’m looking forward to visiting again soon! Maybe next time I’ll have video to share instead of censored pics!

As always, Live, Laugh, and Love like today is your only chance!~Lori
