The Music from Weekend Surrender

by on September 21, 2013

It’s not secret by now that I LOVE music. For me music is inspirational and cathartic. It helps me get into the right frame of mind for specific scenes, or it can change the flow of a story by inspiring a new twist. With Weekend Surrender the songs came as I wrote the story. Rachel and the four Brooks brothers were first inspired by a night of blissful reverie with Miranda Lambert and Carrie Underwood blaring in my headphones. Take a minute to listen to the playlist!

Playlist for Weekend Surrender

“Mama’s Broken Heart” – Miranda Lambert

“Gettin’ You Home” – Chris Young

“Wanted” – Hunter Hayes

“If I Didn’t Have You” – Thompson Square

“What Hurts The Most” – Rascal Flatts

“I Need You” – Tim McGraw and Faith Hill

Weekend Surrender Surrender Trilogy Book 1

Weekend Surrender
Surrender Trilogy Book 1

The Surrender Trilogy Book 1: After another painful betrayal and break up, Rachael Morgan sets out to prove to herself that she can handle a good time with a man and walk away sexually satisfied and with her heart intact. She could have never imagined that she would be agreeing to the proposition of a lifetime. Every woman in Stone River, Texas would jump at this chance, but she’s afraid she’ll leave pieces of her heart behind.

Raised on their family ranch the four Brooks brothers have always shared everything. Even women.  When they find themselves face to face with the one person who could complete them all, they set out on a journey to claim her for their own.

Fate can place them all in the right place at the right time, but will Rachel be able to overcome her relationship scars, or is she destined to live her life alone believing that no man ever stays?

*There is no touching or titillation between siblings.*

Purchase it at JK Bookstore, Amazon, Barnes and Noble, or All Romance Ebooks on Tuesday September 24!!

As always, Live, Laugh, and Love like today is your only chance!~Lori

  1. I love how you incorporate music into your books…makes me love them so much more …there is nothing like driving down the road listening to music and having a song come on that reminds you of a book you have read….with playlist added to books it even better because you actually download the song and turn it up in the car because it reminds you of your favorite books and exactly what was going on during these songs….what a great lineup….
